- 3 - 4 medium to large turnips, any variety, washed, peeled and chopped into 1-inch cubes
- 1 1/2 tbsp butter or olive oil
- 1/8 cup milk
- salt and black pepper to taste
Return to pot and add butter/olive oil and milk. Mash well and season to taste with salt and ground black pepper.
